Getting There
Car
If you are driving from central Yarra Valley, take the Melba Highway (B300) heading towards Coldstream. After approximately 15 minutes, follow signs for the Maroondah Highway (B300) and merge onto it. Continue on the Maroondah Highway for about 5 minutes. Maddens Rise will be on your left at the corner of Maroondah Highway and Maddens Lane. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transport
If you prefer public transport, start by taking the train from Lilydale Station on the Lilydale Line towards the city. Get off at Coldstream Station, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. From Coldstream Station, you can take a taxi or rideshare service, as there are no direct bus services to Maddens Rise. The taxi ride will take about 5 minutes and will cost around AUD 10-15.
Walking from Coldstream Station
If you are feeling adventurous and prefer to walk from Coldstream Station, you can head northwest along the Maroondah Highway. It is about a 1.5 km walk and will take approximately 20-25 minutes. Follow the footpath along the highway until you reach the corner of Maroondah Highway and Maddens Lane where Maddens Rise is located.
