Car
If you're driving, start from the main town centers in Yarra Valley, such as Healesville or Lilydale. From Healesville, take the Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road (C411) towards the southeast. Continue until you reach the intersection with the Maroondah Highway (B300) and turn left onto it. Follow the Maroondah Highway for approximately 15 kilometers, then turn right onto the Mount Dandenong Tourist Road. After around 10 kilometers, turn left onto Odonohue Track. Follow this road until you reach the Sherbrooke Falls car park, where you can find designated parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Sherbrooke Falls via public transportation, start by taking a train from Melbourne to Belgrave Station on the Belgrave Line. From Belgrave, you can catch the 688 bus towards Ferny Creek. Ensure you check the bus schedule ahead of time as services may not be frequent. Get off at the stop closest to Odonohue Track. After disembarking, walk along Odonohue Track for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the Sherbrooke Falls picnic area. Note that you may need to plan your return journey in advance to ensure you catch the bus back to Belgrave.
Walking
If you're already in the vicinity of the Dandenong Ranges National Park, consider walking to Sherbrooke Falls. The falls are accessible via the walking tracks. From the Sherbrooke Forest car park, follow the designated walking trails that lead to the falls. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers each way and features beautiful scenery along the way, making it a pleasant hike for nature lovers.
