Car
To reach Cape York from Yorke Peninsula by car, you will need to travel towards Adelaide first. Start by heading north on the Yorke Highway (B90) towards the town of Minlaton. Once you reach Minlaton, continue on B90 until you reach the junction with the Copper Coast Highway (B85). Take the Copper Coast Highway northbound towards Kadina. After passing through Kadina, follow signs to Port Pirie and then take the A1 highway north towards Port Augusta. Continue on the A1 until you reach the junction with the A87 towards Whyalla. From Whyalla, continue on the A87 until you reach the Eyre Highway (A1). Take the Eyre Highway all the way to the junction with the Stuart Highway (A87) and head north. You will eventually reach Queensland. Once you cross into Queensland, follow signs towards Cairns and then take the Captain Cook Highway towards Port Douglas. From Port Douglas, take Mossman-Daintree Road and follow signs to Cape Tribulation. Finally, take the routes through Cooktown and the Bloomfield Track to reach the remote Cape York area. Please note that this route involves several hours of driving and may incur fuel costs and possible tolls.
