The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, from Europapark, follow the paved path along the lake eastward; the promenade connects seamlessly to the park.

From Klagenfurt city center (e.g., Heiligengeistplatz), take a bus towards Minimundus or the Universität. Several bus lines stop near Minimundus or Europapark. From either of those stops, follow the walking directions to reach the Friedel Promenade. A single bus fare within Klagenfurt is approximately €2.40.
