Public Bus

To reach Slap Grmečica from Klagenfurt, start by heading to the main bus station located at Bahnhofplatz. Look for bus line 20 or 21 towards Nomenj. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nomenj stop, exit the bus and follow the road signs towards Slap Grmečica, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. You will walk along a scenic path that leads you towards the waterfall.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Klagenfurt. Start at the center of Klagenfurt and follow the cycling path along the Wörthersee. Continue along the route towards Nomenj, which will take about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace. Once you reach Nomenj, follow the signs that lead you to Slap Grmečica, which is approximately a 15-minute bike ride from the center of Nomenj.

Walking

For those who enjoy walking, you can take a long hike from Klagenfurt to Slap Grmečica. Begin your journey at the Klagenfurt main square (Neuer Platz) and head towards the north along the path leading to the outskirts of the city. This route may take around 2 to 3 hours depending on your pace and the trails you choose. Once you reach Nomenj, follow the local paths towards the waterfall, which is well marked.
