From Klagenfurt, take the A2 motorway towards Graz. After about 15 km, take exit 24-Krumpendorf. After exiting, turn left onto the B83. Continue on this road for about 3 km, and then turn right onto Drasingerstraße. Schloss Hornstein will be on your left at Drasingerstraße 92. There is parking available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
Start at Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take the train towards Pörtschach am Wörthersee. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the Krumpendorf am Wörthersee train station. From there, you can either walk for about 20 minutes following Drasingerstraße or take bus line 522 towards Wörthersee. Exit at the stop 'Hornstein' and walk a few minutes to Drasingerstraße 92 where Schloss Hornstein is located.
