To reach Falkensteinwand using public transportation, take a train to Salzburg, then transfer to bus line 150 towards St. Gilgen. This bus will take you directly to St. Gilgen, where you can disembark at the bus stop near the lake. The bus fare is around €5-10. Once you arrive in St. Gilgen, walk towards the Wolfgangsee lakefront area; the Falkensteinwand is easily visible from there.

Once you arrive at the lakefront area in St. Gilgen, if you are near the waterfront, simply walk towards the edge of the lake. The Falkensteinwand is a prominent rock wall that rises above the lake, making it easy to find. The walk from the bus stop or parking area to the wall should take about 10-15 minutes.
