If you are driving, start in the center of Fuschl and head southeast on the B158 road. Follow the signs towards the Fuschlsee lake. After about 2 kilometers, turn left onto Ellmaustein road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the parking area near Ellmaustein. There are no parking fees.

To reach Ellmaustein via public transport, take the bus number 150 from the Fuschl bus station towards Salzburg. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Ellmaustein' stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to the Ellmaustein viewing point. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as services may be limited during off-peak hours.

If you prefer to walk from the center of Fuschl, it is about a 30-minute hike to Ellmaustein. Start at the main square in Fuschl, follow the lakeside path towards the southeast, and then take the marked hiking trail leading up to Ellmaustein.
