Getting There

Bus
From the Dornbirn central bus station (Dornbirn Bahnhof), take the bus number 2 towards Friedrichshafen. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Friedrichshafen Stadt stop. From there, walk straight towards the lake (Bodensee) for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Moleturm observation tower on your left, located along the waterfront.

At the Dornbirn train station, board a train heading towards Friedrichshafen. The journey takes around 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Friedrichshafen Hafen station, exit the platform and walk towards the lake. Moleturm is about a 15-minute walk from the station, following the path along the lakeshore.

If you are already in Dornbirn and prefer to walk, head to the Bodensee (Lake Constance) area. You can walk towards the main road (B 201) and follow the signs leading towards Friedrichshafen. The distance is roughly 12 kilometers, so it’s a bit of a trek, taking about 2.5 to 3 hours. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
