Getting There

  • Bus

    From Dornbirn, walk to the Dornbirn bus station (Busbahnhof). Take bus line 35 towards Bregenz. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach Meersburg. After getting off at Meersburg bus station, walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see signs for Schloßpl. Turn left onto Schloßpl. and continue for another 2 minutes until you arrive at Neues Schloss, located at Schloßpl. 12.

  • Train and Bus

    Head to Dornbirn train station (Bahnhof Dornbirn). Take a train towards Friedrichshafen Stadt. After about 40 minutes, transfer to a bus at Friedrichshafen train station. Take the bus line 739 towards Meersburg and get off at Meersburg bus station. From there, walk about 5 minutes towards Schloßpl. Turn left onto Schloßpl. and walk for another 2 minutes to reach Neues Schloss.

    If you prefer to walk and enjoy the scenery, start at the center of Dornbirn. Head southwest on the Bregenzer Straße towards Meersburg. This will take you on a scenic route through the countryside, approximately a 1.5-hour walk (about 6 km). Follow the signs leading to Meersburg, and once you arrive, navigate to Schloßpl. 12 where the Neues Schloss is located.
