By Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Lienz, the capital of East Tyrol. From Lienz, take the B100 road (also known as the Felbertauernstraße) towards Dölsach. After approximately 3 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Römerstraße. Turn onto Römerstraße, and after about 1 kilometer, you will find Aguntum on your left at Römerstraße 1, 9991 Dölsach. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that there might be a parking fee, so have some coins ready.
By Public Transportation
To reach Aguntum by public transport, take a train to Lienz from your starting location. Once you arrive at Lienz railway station, exit and look for the bus stop outside the station. Take bus line 442 towards Dölsach. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Dölsach Römerstraße' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Aguntum located at Römerstraße 1. Make sure to check the local bus schedules, as they may vary, especially on weekends.
Walking
If you're already in the town of Dölsach, you can walk to Aguntum. Start from the center of Dölsach and head towards Römerstraße. Follow Römerstraße for about 1 kilometer, and you will reach Aguntum on your left. This walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
