You can walk to the station from any central location in Eisenstadt; it’s approximately a 15-minute walk from the city center. Once at the station, take a train towards Wiener Neustadt. You will need to change trains at the station in Wiesen (Neusiedl am See), where you will switch to a train heading to the station in Steinwandgraben. After arriving at Steinwandgraben station, exit and follow the signs to Steinwandklamm, which is about a 20-minute walk. Follow the path that leads into the woods, and you will find the entrance to the hiking area.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Eisenstadt. Start from the city center and head towards the main road (B50). Follow B50 east towards Steinwandgraben. The ride takes about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace. Once you reach Steinwandgraben, park your bicycle in the designated area and walk the remaining distance to the entrance of Steinwandklamm, which is a short 10-minute walk.

    If you’re in good shape and enjoy walking, you can trek from Eisenstadt to Steinwandklamm on foot. Start by heading towards the B50 road, following it east out of the city. The walk is approximately 10 km and will take around 2 to 2.5 hours. Enjoy the scenic views along the way as you make your way to Steinwandgraben. Once you reach the area of Steinwandgraben, look for the signs indicating the entrance to Steinwandklamm, which is about a 10-minute walk from there.
