To reach Volkertmarkt in Vienna from Eisenstadt, start by heading to the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). Purchase a ticket for a train to Vienna, specifically to the Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs to the U-Bahn (subway) station located within the train station. Take the U1 line (red line) towards Leopoldau and travel for three stops. Get off at the 'Karlsplatz' station. From Karlsplatz, transfer to the U2 line (purple line) towards Stadion and travel one stop to 'Taborstraße'. Exit the station and walk north towards the Danube Canal. Volkertmarkt will be on your left as you approach, it's a vibrant market area with various stalls and eateries.

If you are in the vicinity of the Taborstraße U-Bahn station, you can walk to Volkertmarkt. Upon exiting the Taborstraße station, head west on Taborstraße. Continue walking straight for about 450 meters until you reach the intersection with Volkertstraße. Turn left onto Volkertstraße, and you will soon see Volkertmarkt ahead of you.
