Purchase a ticket for a train to Vienna, specifically to the Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs to the U-Bahn (subway) station located within the train station. Take the U1 line (red line) towards Leopoldau and travel for three stops. Get off at the 'Karlsplatz' station. From Karlsplatz, transfer to the U2 line (purple line) towards Stadion and travel one stop to 'Taborstraße'. Exit the station and walk north towards the Danube Canal. Volkertmarkt will be on your left as you approach, it's a vibrant market area with various stalls and eateries.
