Public Transport - Bus
From Eisenstadt, head to the Eisenstadt bus station (Busbahnhof Eisenstadt). Take Bus 2 towards 'Neufeld' and stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Neufeld' stop and transfer to Bus 820 towards 'Wien'. After approximately 40 minutes, get off at the 'Karlsplatz' stop in Vienna. You will arrive directly at Karlsplatz, which is a well-known square in the city.
Public Transport - Train
Make your way to the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). Board the train heading to 'Wien Hauptbahnhof' (Vienna Main Station). The journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and find the U-Bahn (subway) entrance. Take the U1 line (red line) towards 'Reumannplatz'. Get off at the 'Karlsplatz' station. You will be at Karlsplatz, which is a central area in Vienna.
Walking
If you are in Eisenstadt and prefer to walk to Karlsplatz, exit the city and walk towards the nearest public transport station to catch a bus or train, as walking the entire distance to Vienna would be very long (approximately 45 kilometers). It is advisable to take a bus or train for a more efficient journey.
