If you are in the center of Eisenstadt, start at the Eisenstadt Hauptplatz (Main Square). From the Hauptplatz, head east on Hauptstraße towards the intersection with Burgenlandstraße. Continue straight onto Burgenlandstraße for about 500 meters until you reach Eisenstadt Bahnhof (train station). At the train station, you can catch a train to Vienna. Make sure to check the departure times on the schedule board. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride to Vienna, which will take approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station), follow the signs to the U-Bahn (subway) station. Take the U1 line (red line) towards Leopoldau. After 5 stops, get off at Stephansplatz station. Exit the station, and you will find yourself at the iconic Stephansplatz, home to St. Stephen's Cathedral.
