Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Eisriesenwelt. Head north on the main road towards the entrance of the Eisriesenwelt cave. Drive for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the parking area at the base of the mountain. From the parking lot, you will find a cable car station. The cable car will take you up to the Riesenplatte area, providing stunning views along the way. Note that there is a fee for parking (approximately €6 for a day) and a ticket fee for the cable car (around €20 for a round trip).

For those using public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is in Werfen. From Werfen, you can catch a bus (Bus 660) that will take you directly to the Eisriesenwelt cable car station. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the cable car station, purchase a ticket for the cable car to Riesenplatte. The bus fare is approximately €3.50, and the cable car ticket is around €20 for a round trip.
