From any location in Fuschlsee, take the B158 road heading towards Thalgau. Follow the signs for Thalgau and continue on B158 for approximately 10 kilometers. Once you arrive in Thalgau, look for signs directing you to Burgruine Wartenfels. You will need to park your car in the designated parking area nearby, as the castle is a short walk from the parking lot. Please be aware that parking may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
Begin your journey at the nearest bus stop in Fuschlsee. Take the bus line 150 towards Thalgau. The bus ride takes around 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Thalgau Ortsmitte' bus stop. From there, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to Burgruine Wartenfels. Follow the signs directing you to the castle, which is well-marked. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may vary.
Walking
If you are already in Thalgau and prefer to walk, head towards the center of town and look for signs pointing to Burgruine Wartenfels.
