Car
From Fuschlsee, take the B158 road heading east towards Thalgau. Continue on B158 for approximately 10 km, enjoying the scenic views of the lake. Once you reach the outskirts of Thalgau, follow the signs towards Schober. You will find parking available near the hiking trail entrance. Note that parking may incur a small fee, usually around €3-5 for the day.
Public Transportation
Start at the Fuschlsee bus stop (Fuschl am See). Take the bus number 150 towards Thalgau. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the Thalgau bus stop. From there, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) to the Schober hiking area or take a taxi, which should cost around €10-15. If you choose to walk, head southeast on Hauptstraße, then follow the signs towards Schober along the nature trail.
