If you are traveling by car, start from the center of the Gailtal region and take the B111 (Gailtal Straße). Drive towards the town of Hermagor. Once you reach Hermagor, look for signs directing you to the B90 towards Weissensee. Continue on the B90 for approximately 10 kilometers. As you approach the area near the Maralmbachfall, you will see a small parking area on the left side of the road. Park your car here. The waterfall is a short walk from the parking area; simply follow the marked hiking trail leading to Maralmbachfall.
Public Transportation
To reach Maralmbachfall using public transportation, take a regional bus from the main bus station in Hermagor. Look for the bus heading towards Weissensee. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to the B90, where you will see signage for Maralmbachfall. From there, you may need to walk along the roadside (approximately 1 kilometer) until you find the designated parking area for visitors. Please note to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited in the off-peak season.
Hiking
