Car
If you're driving, start from the town of Gröbming. Head southwest on B320 (Ennstalstraße) towards Johnsbach. Continue on B320 for approximately 15 km until you reach the junction with L713. Turn left onto L713 and follow the road for about 5 km, which will lead you directly into Johnsbach. Once in Johnsbach, follow the signs towards Hartelsgraben. There is a parking area near the entrance to Hartelsgraben. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, so have some coins or a card ready.
Public Transportation
To reach Hartelsgraben using public transportation, you can take a train to the nearest station, which is in the town of Gröbming. From Gröbming, take bus line 911 towards Johnsbach. The bus ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the Johnsbach stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 km to reach Hartelsgraben. Follow the road signs directing you to Hartelsgraben. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited on weekends and holidays.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Johnsbach, you can reach Hartelsgraben on foot. From the center of Johnsbach, head northwest on the main road. Follow the road signs directing you towards Hartelsgraben. The walk is about 1.5 km and will take approximately 20-30 minutes. The path is scenic and provides beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
