For those using public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is in the town of Admont. From Admont, you can catch a bus (Bus Line 911) that heads towards Johnsbach. Upon arriving in Johnsbach, you will need to hike approximately 2 kilometers to reach Seekarsee. The trail is marked and should take around 30 minutes to walk. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.

Hiking

If you're already in the vicinity of Seekarsee and prefer to hike, you can access several trails leading to the lake. The most common starting point is the parking lot near the Johnsbach trailhead.
