Getting There

Walking
From the Hauptplatz (Main Square), head towards the Landhaus and take the street to the left, which is called Herrengasse. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Karmeliterplatz. Turn right onto Karmeliterplatz and then take a left onto the path leading up to the Schlossberg. Follow the path up the hill, and you will reach the Uhrturm at the top of Schlossberg. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Public Transport
From Graz's Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 1 towards the Jakominiplatz. Get off at the next stop, which is Oper. From the Oper stop, walk straight ahead until you reach the entrance of the Schlossberg. Follow the path that leads up to the Uhrturm. The total journey, including tram and walking, should take around 25-30 minutes.

Funicular
To take the funicular to the Uhrturm, start at the Schlossbergplatz, which can be accessed via tram or by walking from the city center. At Schlossbergplatz, you will find the funicular station. Purchase a ticket and board the funicular, which will take you directly up to the top of the Schlossberg. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the Uhrturm, which is a short walk from the funicular exit. The entire experience will take about 15 minutes, including waiting for the funicular.
