Walking
If you are starting from the center of Geidorf, head east on Leechgasse towards the intersection with Joseph-Huber-Gasse. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Erzherzog-Johann-Allee. Turn left onto Erzherzog-Johann-Allee, and you will find Burgtor on your left within a few minutes walk. This route is approximately 1 kilometer and should take around 12-15 minutes on foot.
Public Transport – Tram
From Geidorf, you can take Tram Line 1 from the 'Geidorfplatz' tram station. Board the tram heading towards the 'Graz Hauptbahnhof' (main train station). After 2 stops, disembark at 'Burgring' station. From there, walk east along the Burgring road for about 5 minutes until you reach Burgtor. The tram ride costs around €2.50 and tickets can be purchased at the tram station.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available in Geidorf. Head towards the Erzherzog-Johann-Allee via local bike paths. The distance is about 1.5 kilometers which should take you around 5-10 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Ensure to follow the bike lanes and traffic rules for a safe journey.
