Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Gries, head towards the main road, Griesplatz. Once you reach Griesplatz, look for the sign indicating the path to Schlossberg. Follow the signs that lead you to the Schlossberg hill. It’s a slight uphill walk, but the path is well-marked and paved.

  • Funicular

    Once you arrive at the base of Schlossberg, you will notice a funicular railway station. Purchase a ticket at the ticket booth (cost: approximately €2.50 for a one-way trip). Take the funicular up the hill, which takes you directly to the top of Schlossberg where Uhrturm is located.
