Walking
If you are starting from the Graz Main Square (Hauptplatz), exit the square and head towards the Herrengasse street, which is located to the east. Walk along Herrengasse for about 200 meters. Gemaltes Haus will be on your right at Herrengasse 3, marked by its distinctive colorful murals on the facade.
Public Transport
From the Graz Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 1 (direction: Gösting) or tram line 7 (direction: Wetzelsdorf) and get off at Jakominiplatz. From Jakominiplatz, walk east towards Herrengasse, which is about a 5-minute walk. Once you reach Herrengasse, turn right and continue for about 100 meters. Gemaltes Haus will be on your left at Herrengasse 3.

If you are near the Graz Opera House (Oper Graz), exit the opera and head northeast towards the main street, which is Karmeliterplatz. Continue straight until you reach Herrengasse. Turn left onto Herrengasse and walk for about 10 minutes. Gemaltes Haus will be on your right at Herrengasse 3.
Public Transport
Starting from the Graz University of Technology (TU Graz), walk to the nearest tram stop, which is at the corner of Rechbauerstraße and the university entrance. Take tram line 4 (direction: St. Leonhard) and get off at the next stop, which is Jakominiplatz. From Jakominiplatz, walk east towards Herrengasse, which is about a 5-minute walk. Turn right onto Herrengasse, and after about 100 meters, you will find Gemaltes Haus on your left at Herrengasse 3.
