From the city center, head to the nearest tram stop, which is either 'Jakominiplatz' or 'Kunsthaus'. Take tram line 1 towards 'Graz Eggenberg' or tram line 7 towards 'Eggenberg'. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Disembark at the 'Eggenberg' stop, which is the closest to Schloss Eggenberg. From the tram stop, walk about 10 minutes along Eggenberger Allee to reach the castle.
Bus
You can start your journey at the main bus station in Graz. Take bus line 30 or 31 towards 'Graz Eggenberg'. The bus ride will take around 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Eggenberg' stop. After alighting, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Schloss Eggenberg, following Eggenberger Allee.

If you're already in the Eggenberg district or nearby, you can walk to Schloss Eggenberg. Use your map app to navigate to Eggenberger Allee 90. The castle is well-signposted and located within a large park area, making for a pleasant walk.
