Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the center of Lend, head towards the Mur River and follow the path along the riverbank heading north. After approximately 1 km, you will reach the Hauptplatz (Main Square). From there, look for the signs directing you to the Schlossberg. Follow the signs for about 500 meters until you find the staircase leading up the hill.

  • Stairs

    Once you reach the staircase, you will need to climb approximately 260 steps to reach the top of the Schlossberg, where Uhrturm is located. Take your time, as the view becomes more stunning with each step.

  • Funicular (optional)

    Alternatively, if you prefer not to walk up the stairs, you can take the Schlossbergbahn funicular. The entrance to the funicular is located near the base of the Schlossberg. The ticket costs around €3.50 for a one-way trip. The funicular ride will take you directly to the top of the hill, where Uhrturm is situated.
