Public Transport
From the center of Mariatrost, walk to the nearest bus stop (e.g., 'Mariatrost, Kirche') and take Bus Line 31 towards 'Graz, Hauptplatz'. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at 'Graz, Hauptplatz' stop.
Walking
Once you arrive at 'Graz, Hauptplatz', exit the bus and walk towards the clock tower, which is visible from the square. Head southeast on Herrengasse, which will lead you towards Schlossberg. Continue straight until you reach the base of the hill.
Funicular
At the base of Schlossberg, you can take the Schlossbergbahn (funicular) up to the top. The funicular ride costs around €3.50 for a one-way ticket. Enjoy the scenic views as you ascend.
Final Walk
Once you reach the top, follow the signs leading to the Uhrturm (clock tower). It is just a short walk away, and you will be able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings as you make your way to this iconic landmark.
