Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Waltendorf, head northeast towards the main road, Krenngasse. Walk along Krenngasse until you reach the intersection with Grazbachgasse. Turn left onto Grazbachgasse and continue straight. After about 500 meters, you will see the signs for Schlossberg on your right. Follow the signs leading to the Schlossberg entrance.

  • Funicular

    Once you reach the Schlossberg entrance, you can take the Schlossbergbahn funicular railway to the top of the hill. The ticket costs approximately €2.50 for a one-way trip. Enjoy the scenic ride as you ascend, and disembark at the top station.

  • Walking

    After exiting the funicular, follow the path leading to Uhrturm. It will take about 5-10 minutes to walk there. The path is well-marked and offers beautiful views of Graz along the way. As you approach Uhrturm, you will see the iconic clock tower ahead.
