Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start by heading south on Gurktaler Str. (B93) from the center of Gurktal. Continue on B93 for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the town of Murau. Once in Murau, follow signs for 'Grünfels' and turn onto Grünfels W. The castle will be on your left at Grünfels W. 1, 8850 Murau. There is parking available near the entrance, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a local bus from Gurktal to Murau. Check the local bus schedule for departure times as they may vary. Upon arrival at the Murau bus station, exit the station and walk towards the town center. From there, follow the signs to 'Grünfels' or use a map application to navigate to Grünfels W.
