From the center of Hallstatt, head towards the Hallstatt train station. You can take the main path leading through the village, enjoying the scenic views. Once you reach the station, look for the bus stop located directly outside. Take the bus heading to Werfen. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Werfen bus stop, walk up Burgstraße for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Burg Hohenwerfen, which is on your left.

Public Transport (Train and Bus)
From Hallstatt, walk to the Hallstatt train station and board a train towards Salzburg. After about 25 minutes, get off at the Bischofshofen station. From there, transfer to a bus towards Werfen. The bus ride is about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Werfen bus stop, walk up Burgstraße for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at Burg Hohenwerfen on your left.
