Walking
If you are starting from the center of Hallstatt, head towards the main square (Marktplatz). From the square, take the path leading towards the Salzberg funicular railway station, which is well marked. The station is located along the Salzbergstraße. Once you reach the funicular, purchase your ticket to the Hallstatt Skywalk. After a short ride up the mountain, you'll arrive at the Skywalk entrance. Follow the signs to the panoramic viewpoint, where you can enjoy stunning views of Hallstatt and the surrounding mountains.

Walking
If you are near the Hallstatt Museum, exit the museum and head towards the waterfront. Walk along the lakefront path towards the Salzberg funicular railway station. This is a pleasant walk with beautiful views of the lake. Upon reaching the funicular, buy your ticket, take the ride up, and then follow the signs to the Hallstatt Skywalk viewpoint.
