If you are starting from the Hallstatt Market Square (Marktplatz), head east towards the church (Evangelische Kirche) which is clearly visible. Once you reach the church, walk around it to the left, following the path that goes uphill. Continue along this path until you reach the cemetery (Friedhof) which is located adjacent to the church. The Hallstatt Charnel House (Beinhaus) is located within the cemetery. Look for the building with the decorative skulls and bones displayed on the exterior walls.
