Once you reach the church, walk around it to the left, following the path that goes uphill. Continue along this path until you reach the cemetery (Friedhof) which is located adjacent to the church. The Hallstatt Charnel House (Beinhaus) is located within the cemetery. Look for the building with the decorative skulls and bones displayed on the exterior walls.

    If you are near the Hallstatt Museum, exit the museum and head down towards the lake. Turn left and walk along the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the small bridge leading to the cemetery entrance.
