Getting there

Walking

Start at the center of Hallstatt, near the market square (Marktplatz). Head south on the main road (Lahnstraße) toward the lake. Continue walking along the lakeside promenade (Seepromenade) for about 10-15 minutes, enjoying the scenic views of the lake and mountains. As you walk, you will pass by several cafes and shops. Follow the promenade until you reach the end at the Obersee area, where you will find the sign for Hallstattblick. The scenic spot is just a short walk from the promenade, and you will be rewarded with stunning views. Look for a pathway leading up to the viewpoint.

Public Transport

From the Hallstatt train station, take the bus towards Bad Goisern. The bus stop is located right outside the train station. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Obersee' stop. From the bus stop, walk along the road towards the lake. Follow the signs for Hallstattblick, which is a short walk away. The path leading to the viewpoint is clearly marked.
