Continue walking until you reach the Hallstatt train station, which is about a 10-15 minute walk. From the train station, take the local bus towards Obertraun. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Obertraun, Winkl.' From the bus stop, walk about 300 meters along Winkl street until you reach Mammut Cave, which will be on your right. The total travel time is about 30-40 minutes, depending on bus schedules.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Hallstatt. Start from the main square and cycle along the lakeside road towards Obertraun. Follow the signs for the cycling path to Obertraun. The distance is around 5 kilometers and takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on your cycling speed. Once in Obertraun, continue to Winkl street and look for Mammut Cave on your right.
