Walking
Start from the town center of Hallstatt, where you will find the main square (Marktplatz). From the square, head east towards the waterfront along the main road (Seestraße). Continue walking until you reach the end of the waterfront area. Here, you’ll see a path that leads uphill. Follow this path, which is signposted towards 'Doktorf.-Morton-Weg.' As you ascend, enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. When you reach the Doktorf.-Morton-Weg, turn right. Continue walking along this road for about 10 minutes, and you will find the Photo View location at Doktorf.-Morton-Weg 162, where you can take in stunning panoramic views of Hallstatt and the surrounding mountains.
Public Transport
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local bus from the Hallstatt train station (Bahnhof Hallstatt). Board the bus heading towards Hallstatt village and get off at the 'Hallstatt Ort' stop. From there, follow the same walking directions as above: walk towards the waterfront, follow the path uphill, and then turn right onto Doktorf.-Morton-Weg, which will lead you to Photo View.
