Walking

From the center of Hallstatt, head towards the Hallstatt Market Square (Marktplatz). Walk straight through the square, passing by the shops and cafes. Continue along the main path leading out of Hallstatt, which will take you towards the ferry terminal. Once you reach the ferry terminal, you can take a ferry to St. Wolfgang. After approximately 30 minutes on the ferry, you will arrive at the St. Wolfgang dock. From the dock, walk straight up the main road (Markt) for about 5 minutes until you reach Markt 78, where the St. Wolfgang Kirche is located.

To get to St. Wolfgang Kirche, first walk to the Hallstatt ferry terminal located on the lakeside. Purchase a ticket for the ferry heading towards St. Wolfgang. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at St. Wolfgang, disembark and follow the main road (Markt) for about 5 minutes until you reach Markt 78, where the St. Wolfgang Kirche is located.

Although there are no direct bus services from Hallstatt to St. Wolfgang, you can take a public bus from Hallstatt to Bad Ischl first. From Hallstatt, walk to the bus stop located near the Hallstatt Market Square. Board the bus heading to Bad Ischl (the journey takes around 30 minutes). Once in Bad Ischl, transfer to another bus heading to St. Wolfgang. After approximately 20 minutes, you will arrive at St. Wolfgang.
