If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Hochkönig. Use the B164 highway heading towards St. Johann im Pongau. Follow the signs for St. Johann and continue for about 10 kilometers. Once you reach St. Johann, take the exit towards the B311 and follow signs for 'Gemeinde'. After about 2 kilometers, you will arrive at Hochglocker Ruheoase, which is located in the Gemeinde area. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking may incur a fee.

If you prefer to use public transportation, start at the Hochkönig bus station. Take the bus number 50 towards St. Johann im Pongau. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'St. Johann im Pongau - Bahnhof' stop. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi. If you choose to walk, head towards the B311 and follow it for about 2 kilometers to reach Hochglocker Ruheoase. Note that the bus fare is typically around €3-5.
