Car
From the nearest major town, Lienz, drive south on B100 for approximately 30 kilometers. Follow the signs for Matrei in Osttirol. Once in Matrei, take the road towards the Grossglockner area. Continue until you reach the Wohlgethsalm area, where Wasserfall is located. Keep an eye out for parking areas near the waterfall.
Public Transportation
Start by taking a regional train from Innsbruck or Salzburg to Lienz. From Lienz, board a bus heading towards Matrei in Osttirol. Once you arrive in Matrei, you may need to take a taxi or a local shuttle service to Wohlgethsalm, as public transportation options may be limited in this area.
