Note that there may be a toll fee for using the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, which is approximately €37 for a standard car. From the parking area, follow the well-marked hiking trail towards the glacier, which is about a 30-minute walk.

To reach Pasterze using public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is in Heiligenblut.
