Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern area. From the town of Kaprun, take the B168 road towards Zell am See. Continue on the B168 until you reach the junction for the road leading to the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse. Drive along this scenic route for about 20 km until you reach the parking area at the beginning of the hiking trail to Wasserfallwinkelkeessee. Parking fees may apply, typically around €5 for the day.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train to Zell am See. From the Zell am See train station, board the Postbus (Bus 660) towards Fusch. Get off at the stop 'Fusch - Hotel Vötter's Sportkristall'. From there, you can either hike directly to Wasserfallwinkelkeessee or catch a local taxi to the trailhead. The hike from the hotel to the lake is approximately 1.5 hours.
