Car
If you are traveling by car, start from any location in Hohe Tauern and navigate towards the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse (High Alpine Road). The observation point is located at Winkl 84, 9844 Winkl. Take the B108 road and follow the signs towards 'Grossglockner' or 'Heiligenblut'. You will need to pay a toll of approximately €37 for a single trip or €33 for a return trip on the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse, which provides access to stunning views along the route. Once you reach the toll booth, continue on the road until you see the signs for Wilhelm Swarovski Observation Point. There is a parking area available, and from the parking lot, it is a short walk to the observation point.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a train or bus to the nearest major town, which is Heiligenblut. From Heiligenblut, you will need to take a bus that operates on the route to the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse. The bus schedules may vary, so be sure to check the local transportation website for the latest times. The bus fare will be around €10-15. Once you arrive at the observation point bus stop, follow the signs to Wilhelm Swarovski Observation Point, which is about a 10-minute walk.
