    Getting There

    Car

    If you are driving from the nearest major city, Innsbruck, head southeast on the A12 motorway. Continue onto the A10 towards Salzburg and then take exit 51 towards B165 to Krimml. Follow the B165 all the way to Krimml, which is about a 2-hour drive. Once you reach Krimml, follow signs for the Krimml Waterfalls, which are located just outside of the village. There is a parking area available at the base of the waterfall (parking fee around €5 for the day).

    Public Transportation

    If you prefer to use public transportation, take a train from Innsbruck to Zell am See. From Zell am See, transfer to a bus (line 670) that goes directly to Krimml. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Krimml, follow the signs to the waterfalls, which is a short walk from the bus stop. Note that the bus may not run frequently, so check the schedule in advance.

    Walking

    If you are already in Krimml and the weather is pleasant, you can walk to the waterfalls. From the center of Krimml village, head towards the signs directing you to the waterfalls. The hike is approximately 1.5 km (about 30 minutes) and leads you through scenic landscapes with views of the mountains. Ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes as the path can be steep in places.
