Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Fusch. Head southeast on B168 (Hochtorstraße) for about 5 km. You will see signs for the Grossglockner High Alpine Road (Grossglockner Hochalpenstraße). Pay the toll of approximately €38 for a car (prices may vary based on vehicle type and season). Continue on this road for about 10 km until you reach the parking area near the Obere Jägerscharte trailhead. Park your car and prepare for the hike.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Fusch to the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. Check local schedules for the precise times, as they may vary by season. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you may have to pay an entrance fee similar to the car toll. From the bus stop, walk approximately 1 km to the trailhead of Obere Jägerscharte. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking gear, as the trail can be challenging.
Hiking
Once you arrive at the trailhead for Obere Jägerscharte, the hike is approximately 3.5 km and should take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your fitness level.
