By Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from any point in Hohe Tauern. Head towards the B108 road (Felbertauernstraße) and follow the signs for Matrei in Osttirol. Once you reach Matrei, continue to follow signs towards the Höhenweg. After approximately 10 minutes, you will find the entrance to Speicher Margaritzen on your left. There is a parking area available near the dam, but be prepared for a small parking fee of about €5.
