Walking

If you are in the city center, head towards the main street, Maria-Theresien-Straße. Walk northwest along this street until you reach the intersection with Eduard-Wallnöfer-Platz. The Liberation Monument is located directly at this plaza. It should take about 10-15 minutes of walking from the main shopping area.

Public Transport

From the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 1 or 3 towards 'Igls' or 'Mühlau' respectively. Get off at the 'Anichstraße/Maria-Theresien-Straße' stop. From there, walk north along Maria-Theresien-Straße for about 5 minutes until you reach Eduard-Wallnöfer-Platz, where the Liberation Monument is located.

Walking

If you are near the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl), head down Herzog-Friedrich-Straße towards the main square (Marktplatz). Continue straight until you reach Maria-Theresien-Straße, then turn left and walk north for about 5-10 minutes. You will arrive at Eduard-Wallnöfer-Platz, home to the Liberation Monument.
