Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head towards the city center. Walk straight along the Maria-Theresien-Straße, a main pedestrian street. After about 10-15 minutes, you will reach the golden roof (Goldenes Dachl). From there, turn left onto Herzog-Friedrich-Straße, and you will find Stadtturm at number 21, just a few minutes down the road. The tower is visible from this street.

    From the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 1 or 3 towards 'Igls' or 'Mühlau'. Get off at the stop 'Marktplatz'. From the tram stop, walk towards the main square and then turn onto Herzog-Friedrich-Straße. Stadtturm is located at number 21, only a short walk away from the tram stop.

    If you are in the Old Town (Altstadt), locate the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl). From there, walk down towards Herzog-Friedrich-Straße. Continue straight for about 200 meters, and you will see Stadtturm at Herzog-Friedrich-Straße 21 on your right side.
