From the Innsbruck city center, make your way to the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station). You can take tram line 1 or line 3 from the 'Marktplatz' stop or walk for about 15 minutes. Once at the Hauptbahnhof, look for the bus terminal adjacent to the train station. Take bus line J towards 'Hungerburg'. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Hungerburg' stop.

After arriving at the 'Hungerburg' stop, exit the bus and head towards the Nordkette cable car station, which is directly in front of you. Follow the signs for the cable car. Once you reach the cable car station, purchase your ticket and take the cable car up to the Nordkette mountains. The Klettersteig (via ferrata) begins at the top of the cable car station, where you will find clear signage directing you to the climbing route.

Alternatively, you can take tram line 1 from the Innsbruck city center to the 'Hungerburg' stop. Once there, walk approximately 10 minutes to the Nordkette cable car station. Follow the road uphill, and you will see the cable car station on your right. After taking the cable car, follow the signs to the Nordkette Klettersteig.
