From Innsbruck, head to the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station). Once there, take the bus number 4173 towards 'Plansee' which departs frequently. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Make sure to get off at the stop labeled 'Plansee'. The lake will be within walking distance from the bus stop.
Train and Bus
Start at Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station). Take a train towards 'Reutte in Tirol'. Once you arrive at Reutte, transfer to the bus number 4214 heading towards 'Plansee'. This combined journey will take around 1 hour and 45 minutes. Get off at the 'Plansee' bus stop, and you will find yourself very close to the lake.
Bicycle
If you are up for a cycling adventure, rent a bicycle in Innsbruck. Follow the signs towards 'Innsbruck - Reutte' via the B179 road. The distance to Plansee is approximately 40 kilometers, and it will take around 2-3 hours depending on your cycling speed. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
Walking
Walking to Plansee from Innsbruck is not recommended due to the distance (about 40 kilometers) and lack of direct walking paths.
