Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Innsbruck main train station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head straight on Bahnhofstraße. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, passing through the city center. You will cross the bridge over the Inn River. Once you reach the 'Maria-Theresien-Straße', turn left and walk up the street until you see the colorful buildings of the old town. Continue straight until you reach the 'Kaiserjägerstraße'. The entrance to Innsbrucker Hofgarten will be on your right side.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From the Innsbruck main train station, you can take bus line 3 or 5. Board the bus at the station and make sure to get off at the 'Hofgarten' stop. The journey will take approximately 5 minutes. After you get off, the Innsbrucker Hofgarten will be just a short walk away. Follow the signs pointing towards the park entrance.

  • Tram

    If you prefer to take the tram, head to the nearest tram stop from the Innsbruck main train station. Take tram line 1 towards 'Igls'. Get off at the 'Hofgarten' stop, which is just a couple of stops away. The Innsbrucker Hofgarten will be right across the street from the tram stop.
